My favourite part of the internet are the trends that come with it. The month of September is no different. I compiled the most famous trends I witnessed over the past month. Please enjoy while we take a walk down memory lane.

She deserved the purse
One user @deneashagonzalez bought a purse and left it in the baby isle at her local grocery store. The caption of the video read: “She deserved the purse…To the Mother who chose themselves last, you deserve the world tonight and always. 🤎” Every since, others like @tabithaswatosh have been leaving money in the baby isle of grocery stores for mothers to find. Not only because baby products are super expensive, but because they want a mom to get extra money to spend on whatever she wants.

Latto Brokey Challenge
Rapper Latto announced the brokey challenge where the winner of the challenge would win 10,000 dollars if they posted themselves doing the challenge at work. Thousands of people participated in the trend. @Yadirajramirez1 posted her and her team doing the Brokey challenge at Waffle House. Unfortunately the challenge got her fired but she did win the 10,000 dollars from the challenge and got to meet Latto herself.

Recreating SLOMW Swig orders
The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives is all the internet has been talking about. Aside from the drama everyone was shocked at the amount of soda they all drank everyday. Who knew you could customize your soda order like your coffee order? Because Swig, the soda bar isn’t available everywhere people started recreating the orders at home. @jess_on_mainstreet has an entire series dedicated to it.

Recreating Whitney’s RSV video
Continuing in the SLOWN universe, after Whitney Leavitt exposed herself as being the mom behind the RSV video on the show people started recreating the video. If you think @btchwithabow is exaggerating in her version you need to see the original video by Whitney.

Moo Deng everyone’s favourite pygmy hippo. Moo Deng has been giving us the most relatable content and keeps feeding us with more.

Who needs The Voice when you can simply prove your singing abilities with this filter? A bunch of celebrities like Keke Palmer, Charlie Puth, Halle Bailey and her sister Chlöe have jumped on this trend. You’d be surprised to see who succeeded and who has had a hard time completing it.
